Dal 19 al 23 Ottobre nell’ambito del Programma di Apprendimento Permanente LLP (Lifelong Learning Programme) si è svolto presso  l’ITI “S. Cannizzaro” il primo meeting del progetto Comenius “Castles: a precious historical heritage”.

Sono stati ospiti dell’Istituto Dirigenti, Docenti e Studenti provenienti dal Portogallo (Marco de Canaveses), dalla Polonia (Lubartow) e dalla Turchia (Kütahya).

Il Dirigente scolastico prof. Salvatore Indelicato, il vicepreside prof. Salvo Maggio, la referente del progetto prof.ssa Silvana Raccuia, lo staff collaborativo, i proff. Renato G. Bonaccorso - Daniela Contrafatto - Cettina Di Gregorio - Paola Smecca e gli studenti partecipanti al progetto, hanno riservato agli ospiti una calorosa accoglienza come è nello stile dell’istituto.

Il programma organizzato per la settimana ha previsto, oltre alle ore di lavoro svolte in Istituto, la visita a diversi castelli siciliani, nonché passeggiate nella Catania barocca e nei suoi dintorni in cui gli ospiti hanno potuto gustare la bellezza dei monumenti e dei paesaggi marini e montani, la bontà della cucina e la cortesia dell’ospitalità.

Alle attività del meeting hanno inoltre partecipato i proff. Salvatore Consoli, Giovanni Di Bella, Massimo Di Bella, Salvatore Faia, Francesco Guarnera, Donatella Guarrera, Angela Percolla, Giovanna Poma e Davide Romeo.

Within the Lifelong Learning Programme, the first meeting of the Comenius project “Castles: a precious historical heritage” took place at ITI “S.Cannizzaro” from 19th to 23rd October.
The foreign guests, headmasters, teachers and students, came from Portugal (Marco de Canaveses), from Poland (Lubartow) e from Turkey (Kütahya).
The headmaster Mr Salvatore Indelicato, the assistant headmaster Mr Salvatore Maggio, the coordinator of the project Mrs Silvana Raccuia, the collaborative staff, Mr Renato Bonaccorso - Mrs Daniela Contrafatto - Mrs Cettina Di Gregorio - Mrs Paola Smecca and a group of students gave the guests a warm welcome.
During the meeting many activities were planned: group work on the project at school, visit of various Sicilian castles, as well as walks in the baroque Catania and in its environs where foreign guests had the opportunity of enjoying the beauty of the monuments, the mountain scenery and the seascape, the good food and the kind hospitality.
